The KCS aesthetic is fueled by a passion for fusing traditional and contemporary design elements and blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor living to create a timeless home that meets a client’s needs through every life stage.
Beyond beautiful design and thoughtful floor plans, KCS seeks to leverage Sophia’s development expertise to its clients through a consultative approach to the design process. By sharing insights into how design decisions impact building costs and by providing estimated construction costs during the design process, KCS helps clients make informed decisions. KCS also believes in passing its trade prices to its clients.
The KCS team is often called upon to meet with prospective buyers who are contemplating the purchase of a property that needs vision and know-how to see its full potential.
Team
Sophia Kabler Cowley – President.
Sophia holds a BA of Finance degree from the University of Southern California. Formerly a marketing and sales executive for Fortune 500 and internet companies, Sophia decided to pursue her passion for real estate development in 2006 after losing her mother early to Ovarian Cancer. Marketed under the KCS Estates moniker her development projects quickly developed a reputation for their stand out design, well thought out floor plans, and record breaking sales prices.
Joe McGuire – Residential Design.
Joe holds a BA of Environmental Design from the School of Architecture & Planning at the University of Colorado, Boulder and has over 20 years of experience. Prior to joining KCS in 2009 he served as a Lead Designer at FIGA Architecture and was part of designing and building some of the most beautiful estates surrounding California's Lake Tahoe.
John (Jay) Kabler - Vice President.
Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jay oversees operations. Jay holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and has broad experience designing and testing complex systems.
