Our clients challenged us to transform a nondescript 2 bedroom ranch style home into a home that could accommodate their growing young family. Our answer was to transform it into a charming cottage with details to catch your attention and add personality to the home. Details like the chevron tile backsplash, the entry black and white striped wallpaper and the decorative painting in the powder room create visual interest without crowding smaller spaces.
Remodel/Transformation: By making simple changes to the roof eave profile and creating a front entry the home the home’s curb appeal was transformed. A third bedroom was created by reconfiguring a family room into a third bedroom plus den and by removing walls the kitchen and living spaces were able to be expanded and flow seamlessly. A 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home was created without adding square footage and the scope of construction was kept to a minimum.
