Our clients wanted to create a stylish, family home that they could enjoy for many years while raising their two boys and hanging with friends. Interior and exterior spaces connect seamlessly while still remaining defined and distinct allowing a family to comfortably grow within. The great room flows to the outdoor covered patio and BBQ area thru folding doors and a dual sided fireplace featuring indoor and outdoor TV’s. Elegant interior details are intertwined with farmhouse style wood paneling and reclaimed wood and metal grille bar details to create a stylish, relaxed mood.
A detached car with legal second unit above serves as a home away from home for their aging parents and visiting guests.
New construction/Green Building – the team worked closely with the client to incorporate sustainable building practices to meet their goal of being off the grid. A cistern captures drainage and underground spring water to meet the majority of the newly landscaped site and kitchen garden needs.
